The first edition of the Muciara Short Film Festival was divided into a single evening at piazza Tonnara di Bonagia, Valderice (TP), during which the short films in Competition were screened and the winning short films were awarded in the presence of jury technique.

The location
The Muciara Short Film Festival is naturally connected to the territory and is part of the projects for the enhancement of Bonagia's heritage which led, in 2019, to the opening of the museum located inside the Torre della Tonnara.
One of the most evocative places of ancient Sicily became the stage for the first edition of the festival.
